About

ABOUT ME

My legal name is Tyakeia, and I go by Thessaly.

I've spent 8+ years at Amazon, Salesforce, and Truepill, and I've worked in HR, compliance, and investigations since 2020. I'm now taking that work into life sciences quality and regulatory roles.

HOW I GOT HERE

I started on the phones at Amazon in 2016, resolving customer escalations all day. That's where I learned to stay calm, listen closely, and write down exactly what happened.

In 2020 I moved into HR. I worked leave and accommodation cases, first in the Covid Resource Center and then in Disability and Leave Services, where I investigated 100 to 130 ADA and FMLA cases every week. Every determination I wrote was peer reviewed and then manager reviewed.

At Truepill, a digital pharmacy, I built the employee relations function from scratch in one week. That was my first time working inside a regulated healthcare company, and it changed what I wanted to do next.

At Salesforce I supported employees across the United States, Canada, LATAM, and APAC, managed 150 to 390 formal employee relations cases, and served as subject matter expert for the LATAM, M&A, and Legal teams while three acquired companies came on board.

WHAT I'M KNOWN FOR

Seeing patterns. I see patterns and puzzles where others see problems, and I work backward from the solution to find the cause.

Careful documentation. I write records that someone else can pick up a year later and understand without calling me.

Building what's missing. When a process has no tracker, no intake form, or no standard, I make one. At Truepill that meant a full case system in a week. On my own time it means building compliance and case tracking apps.

Systems people will use. A process only protects anyone if people follow it, so I build for the person doing the work.

WHERE MY WORK FITS

ADA and FMLA Leave and Accommodations

HIPAA Compliance in a pharmacy setting

SOP Writing and Knowledge Base Management

HR Systems (Workday) and M&A Integration Support

WHERE I'M HEADED

Life sciences quality and regulatory work. In a regulated setting, a missing record is a risk to a person, and keeping records that hold up is what I do best. I'm studying clinical trials operations, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy technician practice to add the science to the discipline I already have.

WHAT DRIVES ME

I build systems that protect people and companies before problems become crises.
